Pin 1: Connect to VCC power supply (DC 5V).
Pin No.2: Range setting pin (Range). When this pin is high when the module is powered up, the range is 3m. When this pin is low when the module is powered on, the range is 1m. This pin has a pull-up resistor. When the Range pin is floating, the range is 3m.
Pin 3: Analog voltage output pin (Out). The analog voltage is proportional to the measurement distance. The output range is 0~Vcc.
No. 4 Pin: Ground for external circuit.
After powering on the module, the system first judges the input level of the Range pin, and sets different ranges according to the state of the input level. When the Range pin is high, the range is 3m. When the Range pin is low, the range is 1m. Then, the system starts continuous ranging and at the same time outputs the ranging result through the analog voltage at the Out pin. As the distance changes, the analog voltage changes. The analog voltage is proportional to the measurement distance. The analog voltage output range is 0~Vcc.
When the system range is 1m, the measurement distance is: L = 1024*Vout/Vcc(mm). When the output voltage is 0V, the corresponding distance is 0m, and the output Vcc corresponds to 1.024m.
When the system range is 3m, the measurement distance is: L = 3096*Vout/Vcc (mm). When the output voltage is 0V, the corresponding distance is 0m, and the output Vcc corresponds to 3.072m.
The relationship between the measuring distance and the output voltage is shown in the figure:
    Precautions:
    1. This module is not suitable for live connection. For live connection, first connect the GND terminal of the module first, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the module.
    2. When measuring distance, the area of the measured object should not be less than 0.5 square meters and the plane should be as flat as possible. Otherwise, the result of the measurement will be affected.
3, if the test surface is not very regular or test long-distance objects, multiple measurements can be used to correct.
