SGP30 Air Quality Gas Sensor Module CO2 eCO2 TVOC Temperature Humidity

    product detail

    1. Introduction to the module
The greenhouse effect, exhaust emissions, melting glaciers, submerging islands - the culprit for all of this is excessive CO2 emissions. It's time to always have a CO2 monitoring device at home to know how urgent our environmental crisis is. It can also tell you the quality of your indoor air and open the windows in time to reduce the CO2 concentration. Conway Technology brings you this CO2 sensor module. CO2 and TVOC values can be easily read by AT commands, and this module has two different threshold modes to choose from.
The module consists of an SGP30 gas sensor and an SHT20 temperature and humidity sensor, which can measure the total VOC signal (TVOC), CO2 equivalent signal (CO2eq), temperature and humidity. The module also provides baseline setting and humidity cross-sensitivity compensation. It can be used in a wide range of applications such as smart homes, home appliances and IoT applications.

    4.1 Module Frequently Asked Questions
After sending AT+AHC\r\n, the module will use the data from STH20 to perform humidity compensation automatically, the sending interval should be at least more than 1S.
The module will automatically set the baseline after sending AT+BL\r\n, the baseline should be set at least once every 7 days, before setting the baseline, you should ensure that
Make sure the sensor has been running for more than 12 hours before setting the baseline
It takes about 10 seconds for the module to power up (during which time the CO2 value is 400ppm) in order to carry out stable and accurate air quality measurements.
    4.2 CO2 Concentration Reference Index
350~450ppm: Healthy environment, same as general outdoor environment.
350~1000ppm: Healthy environment, fresh air, smooth breathing.
1000~2000ppm: Unhealthy environment, feel the air turbid, and begin to feel drowsy.
2000~5000ppm: Environment harmful to health, feeling headache, drowsiness, dullness, inability to concentrate,
    heart rate increases, mild nausea.
Greater than 5000ppm: May cause severe oxygen deprivation, resulting in permanent brain damage, coma, or even death.
