Grow together with college students

National University Robotics ROBOCON Competition

The National University Robotics Competition ROBOCON started in 2002 and is held annually. The champion team of the competition represents China to participate in the Asia-Pacific University Robotics Competition (ABU RABOCON) organised by the Asia-Pacific Broad-casting Union (ABU). The healthy development of the competition has been made possible by the active participation of young students and the support of many organisations. The competition has now become the most technically challenging and influential college robotics event in China.

RoboMaster RoboMaster University Series (RUM, RoboMaster University Series)

As one of the events under the National University Robotics Competition, it is a robotics competition and academic exchange platform for global science and technology enthusiasts. Since its inception in 2013, it has always adhered to the concept of ‘giving glory to youth, giving power to thinking, and serving young engineers around the world to become dreamers who pursue the ultimate and have the spirit of doing’, and is committed to cultivating and absorbing comprehensive quality talents with engineering thinking, and widely conveying the beauty of science and technology and the concept of science and technology innovation to the public.

The platform requires participants to go out of the classroom, form a mecha team, and independently develop and produce a variety of robots to participate in team competitions. They will gain valuable practical skills and strategic thinking through the competition, and build advanced intelligent robots in the fierce competition. The scale of the Collegiate Series has been expanding year by year, attracting more than 400 colleges and universities around the world to participate in the competition every year, delivering a cumulative total of 50,000 young engineers to the society, and carrying out various types of talent training, laboratory co-buildings and other industry-university-research co-operation projects with hundreds of colleges and universities.

China Formula Student Series

Founded in 2009, the Formula Student Racing Series is a non-profit public service endeavour dedicated to building a public platform for the cultivation and selection of elite automotive talents in China.

Participating college students organise a team to design, build and commission a Formula car each year. In addition to testing the team's practical engineering ability during the design and manufacturing process, the team's all-round ability in engineering management, commercial marketing, cost control, investment promotion, etc. is also considered. Each formula car is the wisdom and engineering results of a group of aspiring young people who devote a whole year's time to the project, which is also a true portrayal of the spirit of craftsmanship.

2024 Shell Eco-marathon, 2024 Honda China Energy Saving Competition

The Shell Eco-marathon has been organised globally for 39 years, with 2024 being the sixth year for the China leg. Shell Eco-marathon is an educational programme for university and secondary school students around the world. Since 1985, Shell Eco-marathon has been held in different cities in America, Europe and Asia on a rotating basis. The aim of the programme is to encourage students to use their creative minds to design and build fuel-efficient vehicles and compete in the race.

Soichiro Honda, the founder of Honda, started the Energy Saving Competition in Japan in 1981, which is a social activity with the theme of improving energy efficiency and creating a conservation-oriented society, and is intended to enable participants to share Honda's long-standing environmental protection concepts as well as the spirit of challenge by personally participating in and experiencing the process of creation, and to deduce the significance of energy saving for the earth's environment, and then to raise the awareness of energy saving and environmental protection in the whole society. The Honda Energy Saving Competition has been successfully held for 14 times since it entered China in 2007, attracting more and more people who care about environmental protection and are keen on challenges to participate in the competition, and has gained widespread attention from people from all walks of life.
