product detail
12A DC to DC Adjustable DC-DC Step Down Buck Module Converter CC CV Synchronous Rectifier Power Solar Lithium Battery Charging LED Driver Board ZK-JVA-12K
Note! ! !
1. When you use this product, please do not share the input ground and output ground of the module together. This will cause the module current sampling resistor to be bypassed, so that the module cannot adjust the output current, and it is easy to burn when connected to a large load. Module.
2. Some customers reported that the output voltage of the module cannot be adjusted. When you encounter this problem, please turn the CV potentiometer counterclockwise for more than 20 turns, and then use the module to adjust the voltage normally. When the module leaves the factory, the default output voltage is about 17V.
3 ways to use the module:
1. Use as an ordinary step-down module with over-current protection capability;
2. Used as a charger for various voltage values of lithium batteries, batteries, nickel-cadmium nickel-hydrogen batteries (battery packs), used in solar panels, wind generators and other occasions;
3. Used as a high-power LED constant current drive module;
Module parameters:
Module name: 12A synchronous rectification step-down module, constant voltage and constant current
Module nature: non-isolated step-down module (BUCK) synchronous rectification
Input voltage: 4-32V (35V limit) Please reserve the voltage margin.
Output voltage: 1.2-32V continuously adjustable (the default output is about 18V, if you power on the module, you find that the output voltage of the left and right rotating voltage potentiometer has not changed, you first rotate the voltage potentiometer counterclockwise for more than 15 revolutions)
Minimum input and output voltage difference: 0.8V
Output current: 0-12A long time natural heat dissipation within 8A, the temperature does not exceed 60 degrees. Please use derating when the ambient temperature is high.
Output constant current range: 0-12A
Working temperature: -40~+85 degrees
Working frequency: 150KHz
Conversion efficiency: up to 98% (efficiency is related to input, output voltage, current, and pressure difference)
Short circuit protection: Yes (the current limit is the current constant current value)
Input reverse connection protection: None (if necessary, please put a diode in series in the input)
Output anti-reverse irrigation protection: None (If necessary, please connect a diode in series to the output. When used for charging applications, please add an anti-reverse diode between the output of the module and the battery, otherwise the module will be damaged.)
Dimensions (including shell): length, width and height 70mm*40mm*30mm.
Application scope:
1. DIY a regulated power supply with constant current function, which is not afraid of short circuit during use, which can protect the load.
2. Power your electronic equipment.
3. To charge various batteries, set the charging voltage and charging current according to the batteries of different voltages and capacities.
4. Use solar panels to supply power to charge various batteries, with constant current function, which can prevent the battery from overcharging and effectively protect the battery.
5. Drive high-power LEDs, which can be freely combined in series and parallel.
6. As the vehicle power supply, it can supply power to your mobile phone, laptop or various digital products.
Method of setting voltage and current:
1. Set the output voltage: According to the float voltage value of the battery you want to charge, or the voltage value of the LED after series or parallel connection, adjust the constant voltage potentiometer (CV) to set the output voltage to the required voltage. (Without load)
2. Set the constant current value: Turn the CC potentiometer counterclockwise about 20 turns to the end, then use a multimeter to short-circuit the output at the 20A current level, and adjust the CC potentiometer to the current value you need to set.
Note: When setting the constant current, the voltage must be higher than 1.2V, otherwise the constant current function will be invalid.
